Tennis is a sport which is getting more and more
popular each day thanks to great tennis players all around the world. Some of
these greatest players are Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Serena
Williams, Maria Sharapova. They are now shaping the tennis. They are placing
top 5 almost all the time in all tennis tournaments.

I want to
give information about the old number one tennis player Rafael Nadal, who is my number one tennis player ever. He has all the
qualities that a tennis player can have. He had many championships and
many titles.
He was
interested in football when he was around five years old because of one of his
uncles. But later he was first introduced with tennis by his another uncle Tony
Nadal. Tony was a professional when he was young and was also good at tennis.
After having been introduced with tennis, Rafa leaded his career through
tennis. I am glad that because I liked tennis with him. There were very good
players other than him but he had the soul of playing tennis. He was not
playing like a machine just to win the match. He was spending a lot of effort
on the court. He was not leaving a place on the court where he did not step in.
His uncle
Tony gave Rafa an advice that he should use his left hand. That was because
there were not much players who was using their left hands so that would put
many players in a hard situation and it worked. He used this superiority really
well and defeated many of his opponents by using this skill.
When he was
just sixteen he played in semi finals of
Wimbledon. When he was seventeen he defeated Roger Federer for the first time.
When he was nineteen he won Roland Garros at his first participation and later
he repeated this for running three years. He proved himself and now he has lots
of fans including me. I just cannot
think of tennis without Rafa.
